Integrated Launch Campaign A Success for Crème de la Crème Grand Opening
A nationally recognized, top-notch child care center
called Crème de la Crème® Early Learning
Centers of Excellence© opened its newest center this
month. Crème selected J&Y as its agency to
strategically execute all marketing communications. The
campaign, primarily a public relations initiative, was
a success.
J&Y developed a grand opening launch plan which included
an integrated approach to the grand opening involving
public relations, direct response and online marketing
tactics. The public relations goal was to get media coverage
to drive existing and potential student families to the
open house. J&Y surpassed all client goals by getting
a front-page story in The Cincinnati Enquirer, 18 broadcast
television feature hits and radio mentions. The goal
for the open house was to have 300-400 members of the
public in attendance. The attendance was outstanding
and J&Y exceeded client expectations.
Crème de la Crème's early childhood-focused
curriculum and state-of-the-art facility offers many
amenities and services designed to make life easier for
busy families such as on-site haircuts and private lessons
in dance, music, karate and tennis. As part of the Crème
curriculum, computer and math labs, dance, music and
art studios, a KREM-TV studio, gymnasium, water park,
tennis and basketball courts and soccer field are included.
The new 21,000 square-foot building, located at 5324
Natorp Boulevard in Deerfield Township, Ohio, serves
the individual, emotional, physical and cognitive development
needs of approximately three hundred children.
Established in 1982, Crème de la Crème
Early Learning Centers of Excellence™ is headquartered
in Greenwood Village, Colorado. The company is a national
network of early learning centers located throughout
the country including Denver, Dallas, Chicago, Kansas
City, Atlanta and Sterling, Virginia.

Leveraging Community Relations

From 5k races to golf outings, meet-and-greets to charity
donations, there are many great ways to raise your
company's profile through community relations. Besides the challenge of finding the right strategic fit to advance your business objectives, consider these other elements when dedicating your organization's resources to give back to the community:
-Take it personally. If you choose a cause or activity you have a personal connection to, or particular interest in, you will be much more motivated to donate your time and resources to it.
-Keep it real. Know yourself and pick activities that you can realistically complete. This may mean participating in one big event annually, or doing several, smaller activities throughout the year.
-If it ain't broken don't fix it. If you find something that works well for
you, stick with it. This builds brand equity, familiarity and increases credibility.

J&Y Adds New Team Member
Libby Esterle, Public Relations Account Manager
In this role, Esterle will be responsible for developing client relationships, providing strategic counsel and public relations expertise to clients. Most recently, Esterle served as
Marketing and Communications Manager for The Leukemia & Lymphoma
Society, where she developed and implemented the marketing
plans for the Southern Ohio Chapter. Esterle was also a
Senior Account Executive at Dan Pinger Public Relations,
where she was responsible for managing the growth of client
businesses through successful campaigns and delivering
marketing results through recommended strategies and tactics.
Esterle brings to Justice & Young ten years of professional
experience relating to public relations and marketing communications.
Esterle earned a bachelor's degree in Speech Communications
and Psychology from Gustavus Adolphus College in Minnesota
in 1996.
